This book is a novel and unique manual for the operation of assisted reproductive technology laboratories. The author jumped out of the traditional textbook-style explanation frame, from the perspective of embryologists, used vivid and interesting language to describe the most controversial topics in the basic operation of assisted reproductive laboratories today, as well as various aspects that should be paid attention to, and put forward Brand new solutions.
內容簡介:
From the perspective of embryologists, the author uses vivid and interesting language to describe the controversial topics in the basic operation of assisted reproductive laboratory and the aspects that should be paid attention to, and puts forward new solutions. This book describes the laboratory layout, embryo culture, egg collection, laboratory instruments and tools, cryopreservation and other aspects of assisted reproductive laboratory operation. At the same time, it discusses the research direction of assisted reproductive technology and related issues of academic exchanges, and systematically explains the current situation, practical problems and responsibilities of embryologists in the field of experimental embryology.
This book is a novel and unique operation guide for assisted reproductive technology laboratory, which can provide readers with multi-level interpretation of the comparison of Chinese and foreign experimental technology and related concepts, and can also be used as a reference guide for technicians, embryologists or related researchers of assisted reproductive embryo laboratory.

Gábor Vajta
During his (far too) long life, Gábor Vajta has obtained an MD, PhD and DSc degree; 4 past professorships on 3 continents; but failed to get a single scientific award or any position in any scientific society. He is author of 151 publications with >15,000 citations; 6 books and approx. 10 book chapters. He is inventor of a number of new techniques including the Open Pulled Straw (OPS) vitrification, Handmade Cloning (HMC), and Well of the Well (WOW) system; resulting in six, mostly unproductive patent applications. He was a servant of big institutions in Europe, America, Asia and Australia for 34 years; since 2008, he has been a free man, a freelance consultant all around the globe. He is co-founder and CSO of VitaVitro Biotech Co., Ltd., Shenzhen, China. Gábor Vajta lives now in Cairns, Queensland, Australia, but (before and after COVID) spends half of the year in different animal and human embryology laboratories on five continents.
Zoltán Macháty
Zoltán Macháty obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1993. The objective of his research is to improve reproductive efficiency in domestic animals by understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms that regulate egg activation and early embryonic development. He is author or co-author of 86 papers, 97 research abstracts, 7 book chapters, and has submitted 2 patent applications. Since 2003, Zoltan Machaty has been working at the Department of Animal Sciences at Purdue University (West Lafayette, Indiana, USA), where he has a research and teaching appointment.
