This title comes from inspired picture-book creator Polly
Dunbar, the first in the colourful, charming, soon-to-be televised
series following the escapades of Tilly and her friends. "I''m not
sleepy," says Tiptoe while Tilly gives him his goodnight kiss.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Goes Tiptoe''s drum while Tilly sings him a
goodnight lullaby. Will a bedtime story do the trick and send
tiptoe off to sleep? Ah, yes...Now Tilly must get ready for bed
herself. If only there was someone to tuck her in...But wait!
Tiptoe is still awake ...and he''s come to tuck Tilly in and give
her a goodnight kiss! Exciting news! "Tilly and Friends" has been
scheduled for TV transmission on CBeebies, beginning autumn 2012
...52 delicious episodes. Utterly charming artwork, delicious
palette, gentle humour and winsome characters have deservedly made
this a series of winners. This title comes from the bestselling
author and illustrator of "Penguin" 9781844280650 which was the
winner of the 0-5 Nestle Silver Award 2007 and the 2007 Booktrust
Early Years Award in the pre-school category.
