In 2015, 551,522 students accomplished their graduate education.
Nearly 10 times the number of masters degrees was
awarded compared to doctoral degrees 497,744 vs. 53,778, respectively.
Among all the disciplines, Engineering and Science are the two
disciplines with over 10 thousand graduated doctorates. Engineering, Management
and Medicine are the three disciplines with over 50 thousand graduated masters.

Chart 1.3. 6. Data on international
graduate students.
In 2015, the number of international graduate students has reached
53,572, increased by 11.63% compared with 2014. The graduate students pursuing
degrees account for 13.47% of total international graduate students, and
account for 28.99% of international graduate students receiving academic
education in China. Big

the Ministry of Education remains still.
