《基于生活满意度的土地利用与交通规划政策研究（英文版）》为学术著作，内容以提升日本居民生活满意度为目标，利用居民移动-活动行为的新成果，围绕日本的各种社会问题，如妇女就业、年轻人由中小城市向大城市集聚、社会老龄化等，基于日本各主要城市的居民生活和出行数据，科学地分析基于城市规划学、社会学、交通学、管理学等学科交叉基础上的城市居民出行行为特征，探索“城市居民出行需求与城市交通供给”“居民居住需求与城市土地利用供给”“交通规划与土地利用”之间的匹配关系，从城市土地利用与交通规划的角度来缓解日本社会日益严重的劳工荒及老龄化等问题。
