Since the first edition of the book was published in 2005, it has become a piece of unique academic work in the field with its innovative contents, wide practical use, and featured bilingual education. It received great support and was widely accepted by readers. The book was awarded the First Prize of Excellent Textbook of Shenzhen University. In 2008, it was selected as one of China’s National “Eleventh FiveYear Plan” Textbooks for Regular Higher Education. The third edition of this book was included in the “Thirteenth FiveYear Plan”National Key Publication Publishing Planning ProjectModern Mechanical Engineering Series of Excellent Textbooks.This revision is based on the Basic Requirements for Teaching Engineering Graphics Courses in Higher Edecation revised by the National Advisory Committee on Teaching Engineering Graphics Courses in Higher Edecation under the Ministry of Education in 2019, and the national standards on Technical Drawing and Mechanical Drawing which have been updated since the publication of the third edition of this book. We have revised the title of Chapter 7 of the 3rd edition to standard parts and commonly used parts, modified or supplemented the relevant content in accordance with the current national standards, and corrected some errors in the book. In addition, we have added a lot of demonstration animations of solids, parts, and assemblies, and changed the printing form into two-color printing, which enhanced the vividness of the graphic content and improved students’ interest in learning.Primary participants who have contributed to the editing and revision of this edition are Rong Cheng, Lin Hu, Qin Fu, Wei Sun, Xiaobo Peng, Xue Fan, Feng Gong, Fenghong Wang, Mingli Zhang, with Rong Cheng and Lin Hu being responsible for the general editing and final assembly of the entire book.Due to various limitations, this book may contain mistakes and all criticisms and corrections from all readers are welcome.Editors第4版前言本书是一本内容新颖、实用性强、富有特色的双语教材,自2005年首次出版以来深受广大读者的欢迎和厚爱,并荣获深圳大学优秀教材一等奖,2008年被评为普通高等教育“十一五”国家级规划教材,本书第3版被列入“十三五”国家重点出版物出版规划项目——现代机械工程系列精品教材。本次修订根据高等学校工程图学课程教学指导分委员会2019年修订的《高等学校工程图学课程教学基本要求》,以及本书第3版出版以来修订更新的《技术制图》和《机械制图》国家标准进行,将第3版第7章标题修改为“标准件和常用件”,按照现行国家标准修改或补充了相关的内容,并修改了书中的一些错误。此外,补充了很多立体、零件、装配体等的原理动画,并改为双色印刷,增强了图文内容的生动性,以提高学生学习兴趣。参加本书再版编写和修订的人员有程蓉、胡琳、付芩、孙炜、彭小波、范雪、龚峰、王枫红、张明莉,程蓉和胡琳任主编。由于编者水平有限,书中难免有错误和疏漏,敬请广大读者批评指正。
